The US Internal Revenue Service has sent a formal letter to Reform It Now, Inc. approving its status as a 501(c)(3) charity, effective July 18th, 2014. This establishes Reform It Now as a legitimate charitable organization and sets forth our opportunity to serve people with autism and their families in New Jersey and throughout the United States.
Reform It Now wishes to thank the brilliant services of Harbor Compliance (http://harborcompliance.com/). Literally, with their assistance we were able to file for 501(c)(3) status on August 1st, and received the detemination letter on August 14th. The IRS processed the application in 8 calendar days.
To Mike, Sharon and everyone else at Harbor Compliance, we wish to say “thank you, for a job well done!” Anyone incorporating or even contemplating a new charity would be crazy not to use their services. With Harbor Compliance at our backs, Reform It Now will be a fully compliant, accurately organized and meticulously run organization.
We’d also like to thank the Internal Revenue Service. Under immense pressure, the IRS stated publicly that they would process 1023EZ forms in expedited fashion. Much to their credit, they did precisely what they promised and delivered outstanding results.
Reform It Now helps autistic persons and their families locate qualified lawyers trained specifically in their needs, and to protect their rights, and civil liberties. We provide the training and verification, and offer attorneys education about the needs of those with autism in legal situations of all kinds.
