WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Reform It Now, Inc. has announced the creation of a new fundraising campaign through, a leading charities crowdfunding site, to help pay for a new online education system to train lawyers, judges and others in the legal system about autism. The campaign seeks to raise at least $25,000. hosts the fundraising campaign, allowing our team to focus on our core mission. Donations are secure, safe and fast.

The new system will be developed with the help of, a leader in online education services and will include a series of 50 minute online lessons and testing. Those completing the courses will receive a course completion verification from Reform It Now, attesting to their awareness of autism.

Autism awareness is critical for those in the practice of law, and in both the civil and criminal legal systems. Autism Unites finds those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are 7 times more likely to interact with police compared to those without ASD. In New Jersey, where Reform It Now is based, one in 28 boys aged 21 or younger are diagnosed with ASD.

These statistics tell us there is a vastly increased need for autism awareness in our courts as this increasing population faces new and potentially greater challenges in our courts. Our fundraising goal is to create that awareness and to bring equal protection and justice to this part of our society.

“An autistic individual, simply serving as a witness, can feel incredible pressure when faced with aggressive cross-examination and could experience an emotional crisis leading to self-inflicted physical harm. Care must be taken to protect the witness, and to cautiously get the answers in a non-confrontational manner” said Robert Angelone, Reform It Now’s founder.

“The funds we raise through this campaign enable us to provide a exceptional online education platform. Attorneys taking these Continuing Legal Education courses will come away with a greater understanding of how autism affects their clients and their cases. This is one of the most critical CLE courses any lawyer can take.” – Stephen J. Chisholm, Board Member.
